I’m energized by my work at one of the country’s leading life sciences VC firms. I enjoy the fast-paced, collaborative, and intellectually rigorous environment that has allowed me to grow professionally. Since day one, I have taken on increasing responsibilities and now, as a director of finance, I am regarded as a valued contributor in discussions regarding potential investment opportunities, strategy, and deal structure.
Curtis joined RiverVest in July 2017 and serves as a director of finance since 2021. In this role, Curtis leads RiverVest’s analyst team, evaluates and negotiates terms in connection with portfolio company financings, and works collaboratively with the broader accounting, administrative, and investment teams. He also monitors fund cash flows to identify risks and opportunities and assists with coordinating fundraising efforts.
Prior to his role as a director of finance, Curtis served as a senior analyst at RiverVest. Curtis earned a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University.
