With great sadness, RiverVest mourns the passing of Dr. Ronald T. Borchardt, a valued member of our scientific advisory board since 2015. Ron’s deep knowledge of medicinal chemistry and keen understanding of the pathways to drug approval made him an outstanding resource to our team as we assessed biopharmaceutical companies for potential investment.

We are grateful for all that Ron did to help bring life-changing therapeutics to patients throughout the world. His impact was, and continues to be, significant. Beyond his professional contributions, Ron was a genuinely kind and considerate person, and we will miss him.
