With great sadness, RiverVest mourns the passing of Brad Keller, a longtime friend and colleague who served as a RiverVest entrepreneur-in-residence from 2013 to 2018. Brad brought deep scientific expertise and a steadfast commitment to patients, supporting preclinical and clinical research and early-stage company-building efforts at several RiverVest portfolio companies, including Lumena Pharmaceuticals and OxaluRx.

Throughout his career, Brad helped advance promising science from laboratory discovery through clinical development. His scientific rigor, intellectual curiosity and dedication to translating promising research into potential therapies made him a valued colleague and trusted resource to our team. We are grateful for his contributions to RiverVest and to the patients whose lives were touched by his work. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Brad’s wife, Annette, his family, friends and colleagues.
