Salient Surgical developed the AquamantysTM system, which uses proprietary TranscollationTM technology that combines radiofrequency (RF) energy and saline to provide sealing of vascular tissue without the smoke and charring associated with competing methods.  This eases the burden on the surgeon and results in improved surgical outcomes. These unique surgical tools are used in many orthopedic, spine and oncology surgical procedures.  RiverVest was a co-founder of the company.
